Definition
One of the most important infrastructure service provided by HealthUnity is its Master Person Index server. This server enables the creation of indexes (also known as groups) that group patient charts across different nodes in the HIE where the person's identity may not have been properly recorded. The HU MPI is the most advanced MPI in the market in that it allows for multiple parallel probabilistic grouping rules to be executed.
How Does It Work?
Our MPI Server provides industry-leading ease-of-use and functionality. It supports standards such as PIX, PDQ. It provides full deterministic and probabilistic algorithms for grouping demographic records.
Who Should Deploy This?
This is a standard part of every HealthUnity HIE deployment. Some customers have licensed this as a stand-alone solution for their application.
