Definition
The repository server acts as the indexed store for clinical documents. The HU repository server implements among other things, the HIE repository interfaces. When documents arrive a workflow engine executes the appropriate business processes that ensure the data is appropriately processed, stored and transmitted.
How Does It Work?
Each HU node is a full fledged repository server. It supports standards based interfaces (e.g. XDS repository) as well as web services based APIs for easy integration.
Who Should Deploy This?
This is a standard part of our solution. All of our HIE customers will be deploying our repository server as a standard component.
